Torres Domingo Hair and Makeup is a private home-based studio in Southwest Calgary, Alberta, owned and operated by Trisha Domingo.

The studio offers individualized hair and makeup services and strives to deliver excellent customer care at each visit. We love getting to know our clients because their stories are unique, just like their style. At TD Hair and Makeup, we work with people to achieve looks that help them confidently tell their stories.

Trisha Domingo

Trisha, the owner, moved to Calgary from Mississauga, Ontario in 2021.

With over 15 years of experience in hair and makeup, Trisha has worked across four professional studios and gained valuable backstage experience at the Toronto International Film Festival and Toronto Fashion Week. Her work has been featured in Today’s Bride Magazine, WedLuxe Magazine, Malvie Magazine, and The Toronto Star. In 2025, she was honoured as a 2026 Canadian Choice Award winner in Hairstyling and Makeup Services.

From a young age, Trisha spent time in her late uncle Tinno’s hair salon, where she was inspired by both his craft and the clients he served. In tribute to her uncle, she chose to incorporate his last name alongside her maiden name when building her brand—creating Torres Domingo Hair and Makeup.

    TONER* $80+
    *Toner is required for most highlighting services. It can neutralize, naturalize or darken the underlying pigment in the hair. For example, toner can make the hair more ashy, golden, or more of a caramel tone depending on the client's desired look. Shades EQ toner acidic formula ensures gentle processing for outstanding condition and shine

Policies

  • All appointments require a deposit. All deposits are non-refundable.

    Colour/Extension Appointments
    $50 deposit

    Haircut Appointments 
    $25 deposit

    Bridal/Special Occasion
    Appointments 50% Deposit

    After the deposit has been made, a message will be sent confirming your appointment date and time.

  • Guests are required to cancel or reschedule their Torres Domingo Hair and Make Up reservation 48-hours prior to arrival in order to avoid losing their deposit.

    If you have booked your appointment with less than 24 hours between your booking time and scheduled appointment you are required to cancel 4 hours before your service start time to avoid losing your deposit.

  • We offer a 10 minute grace period for clients who are running late. Any later than 10 minutes requires rescheduling and a 25% late cancellation fee.

    Please note that you may have to accept a shortened service to keep our on-time clients on schedule.

    If you are running late, always call us as soon as possible. Depending on the schedule, we will be able to work with you if we know ahead of time.

  • If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment without contacting the salon 48 hours prior to cancel, you will lose your deposit. If you choose to rebook, you will be required to pay in full prior to your appointment.

    Clients who no show on more than one occasion will not be booked again.

  • We are currently accepting cash and e-transfer.

  • HAIR COLOUR/HIGHLIGHTING
    Please come with hair that is clean and dry. Hair should be shampooed at least 48 hours before your hair colour service. You do not need to wash your hair on the day of the appointment. Do not wash your hair for 48 hours after a colour service.

    To help ensure the best possible results during your appointment, we recommend wearing comfortable clothing that you don't mind potentially getting colour on.

    While every precaution is taken to protect your clothing with capes, towels, and other protective coverings, hair colour, bleach, toner, and other chemical products can occasionally stain or damage fabrics. We recommend avoiding white, delicate, designer, or expensive clothing whenever possible.

    For haircut appointments, please avoid wearing hoodies, high collars, or bulky garments, as they can interfere with the haircut and make it difficult to achieve a precise result.

    If you are coming from work or an event and would prefer to change, robes are available for your comfort and convenience.

    We take great care to protect your clothing and belongings; however, by proceeding with your service, you acknowledge that accidental staining or damage may occur and that the salon/stylist cannot be held responsible for damage to personal clothing or accessories.

    HAIRCUT
    The artist will wash your hair for your appointment. Curly haired clients, please come with how your hair is normally styled so we can see how the hair naturally falls. We will wash your hair as well.

    For haircut appointments, please avoid wearing hoodies, high collars, or bulky garments, as they can interfere with the haircut and make it difficult to achieve a precise result.
