We completely understand that plans can change — weddings are full of moving parts! To keep things fair for both you and our team, here’s how cancellations and changes work once your date is booked:Once your contract is signed and retainer is paid, your booking is confirmed, and the number of services agreed upon is locked in.
If someone in your group changes their mind or can’t make it, no worries — that service can be transferred to someone else (another guest or family member). Please let us know in advance.
Please note: No refunds will be issued for missed or canceled appointments, as we’ve reserved that time just for your group.
If You Cancel the Entire Booking:
More than 90 day s before the wedding: No further payment is required (retainer remains non-refundable).
60–89 days before: 50% of your remaining total will be due.
31–59 days before: 75% of your remaining total will be due.
30 days or less before the wedding: The full balance is due.
This helps ensure our artists are fairly compensated for holding the date and turning away other bookings. We’re always here to support you and will work with you to find solutions if anything comes up!
MOBILE SERVICES
Require a minimum of 3 services to travel. Otherwise, a $500 minimum is required for travel.

ACCOMMODATIONS
If your artist is flying to your location, we kindly ask that the round-trip flight and one night of hotel accommodations can be covered. If travel exceeds 1 hour and services begin before 6:00 a.m., we also require one night of accommodations near the getting-ready location to ensure a smooth, stress-free morning.
For international destinations, please provide accommodations for two nights to allow extra time in case of travel delays.
These policies are in place to support the well-being of our artists and ensure they arrive safely, rested, prepared and fully focused on you and your bridal party.
TOUCH UPS

If you require your artist to return later in the day (for a second look, photos, or reception prep), the fee is $100/hour + travel (minimum 1 hour).Lipstick Touch-Ups:
Even with long-wear products, lipstick can fade with eating and drinking. We recommend purchasing the lipstick colour used at your trial for your own touch-ups throughout the day.All makeup clients will also receive a mini touch-up kit with a powder puff and minilip application to stay fresh and flawless.
HAIR EXTENSIONS
Hair extensions can be purchased for the client in advance. An additional $50 fee if prep (washing and blow drying) is needed from the artist. You may also purchase and prep the extensions yourself; prep instructions will be included.Application costs start at $25.

ACT OF GOD/UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES
In the unlikely event that the artist is unable to fulfill their contractual obligations due to circumstances beyond their control — including, but not limited to, medical emergencies, severe illness, acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, or other unforeseen emergencies — the artist agrees to notify the Client as soon as reasonably possible. In such cases, the artist will make every reasonable effort to secure a qualified replacement artist to perform the contracted services. If a suitable replacement is not available, the Client will receive a refund for any payments made, excluding services already rendered. Please note: To date, this situation has never occurred with our team.DELAYS
A late fee of $20.00 will be charged for every 20 minutes of delay when a client is late for the scheduled time, or if the scheduled hair service/make up application exceeds the allotted time due to client delays. E.g. client keeps getting up and leaving the room, client keeps answering phone calls during makeup application.ALLERGIES/CONDITIONS
Any allergies and/or skin/scalp conditions should be reported by the client to the artist prior to service, and if need be, a patch test can be performed on the skin to test reaction. Client(s) agree to release the artists of Torres Domingo Hair and Makeup from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions.GRATUITIES
At TD Hair and Makeup, we are always grateful when clients choose to express their appreciation with a tip, though tipping is entirely optional and never expected. If you choose to tip your artists, here’s how it works: Cash tips can be given directly to your artist(s) on the day of the wedding. This goes 100% to your artist(s).
E-transfer tips can be sent to [TorresDomingoHairandMakeup@gmail.com](mailto:TorresDomingoHairandMakeup@gmail.com). These will be evenly distributed between artists based on the number of clients each serviced, unless otherwise specified by the client.
Helcim (credit/debit) payments do not currently allow for tips. If you'd like to include a tip this way, please let us know before your final invoice is paid, and we will adjust accordingly.
Our artists appreciate your generosity, but more than anything, we’re just happy to be part of your big day. Thank you for having us!
TIMELINE WITH NAMES
To ensure your day runs smoothly and stress-free, please review the following:Please inform us of any timeline preferences as early as possible.
For example:
If someone in your party needs to leave early, we will schedule them first.
If someone will arrive later, they can be placed later in the schedule.
If the photographer will be taking getting ready photos or “First Look” photos.
If your bridal suite opens at a specific time, or if you have a firm ‘ready by’ time, please communicate this.
It’s essential for us to determine: How early we need to start.
Whether we need to bring an additional artist to stay on schedule.
If no preferences are provided, we will build the schedule based on:
Hair type (e.g., if your hair doesn’t hold curl well, you may go later or need your hair prepped in advance).
Skin type (e.g., oilier skin types may benefit from a later makeup slot).
The bride is typically scheduled second to last to ensure optimal freshness while allowing enough time for final adjustments or touch-ups.
A custom schedule and timeline will be created for you based on all of the above.

Please wear a button or zip up shirt so you do not disrupt the hair or make up. It is preferable to bring white clothing after the trial is complete, to see how hair/make up will look on the wedding day.
HAIR:
Please shampoo your hair with a clarifying shampoo two times. First shampoo, you will not have much lather, second shampoo with lather more. Make sure to apply the shampoo to the top of your head and the back as well, below the occipital bone (many people miss this area). Shampoo, and only condition if you have extremely dry hair. If you have soft hair please only shampoo, do not condition. For those with oily hair, shampoo the morning of and do not condition. Gently towel dry the hair (you do not want to rough up the cuticle) and brush with a Tangle Teezer starting from the bottom of the hair, working your way up to the root. Please have your hair 100% dry, either air dried or blowdried. This is extremely important. The hair will not hold well with any dampness. If your hair feels cold, it means it is still wet, and you must blowdry it. Do not use any styling tools such as curling irons or flat irons.HAIR EXTENSIONS:
New extensions have a film on them, they have been previously styled, and will not hold curl well straight out of the box. If you bought new extensions please wash them with clarifying shampoo 3 times, a few days before a trial, and a few days before the wedding/event. Brush and lay them flat to dry. They should not feel cold to touch when they are 100% dry. They must be 100% dry for the best hold on the day of service. If they still feel wet you will be required to blow-dry them while you are waiting to get your hair done. Do not use any styling tools such as curling irons or flat irons on the extensions.PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS
Please wear a button or zip up shirt so you do not disrupt the hair or make up. It is preferable to bring white clothing after the trial is complete, to see how hair/make up will look on the wedding day.
MAKE UP:
Please gently exfoliate the face the night before and moisturize. The make up artist will prep your face on the day according to your skin type. Exfoliate your lips with a lip scrub or you can use sugar with olive oil, make sure to moisturize them after. Please let the make up artist know if you will be eating because she will apply the lipstick after you eat. Please try your best to refrain from using cell phones during the make up application as it causes the eyes to flutter and the make up to be disturbed, creating loss time for the artist. If you are not getting touch ups, you can purchase a lipstick prior to your wedding day. Our lipstick can be long wearing, but can fade with eating and drinking.
